12/09/16 at 05:36Writer-director Joss Whedon located himself killing off many darlings in his script to deliver the film at a manageable length as it wove together such a big menagerie of superheroes, including beginners Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), in the clash between Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, as well as the robot monstrosity Ultron.
